SYSC Player Code of Conduct
As a member of SYSC, I understand that I represent the club at all times and am expected to uphold and reflect its values both on and off the field. SYSC Player Code of Conduct applies to all players, and any breach may result in disciplinary action by SYSC, including expulsion from the premises and exclusion from future events or programs.
Respect for All: I will behave respectfully towards SYSC club committee members, coaches, teammates, opponents, referees, officials, parents, spectators, and club employees at all times.
Upholding Club Values: As a member of the club, I will conduct myself in a way that positively represents SYSC and aligns with its values.
Winning with Integrity: I understand that winning is not everything; learning, development, and enjoyment are more important.
Listening to Coaches: During training and games, I will follow instructions from my coaches and not be influenced by others.
Respectful Communication: I will not use crude, foul, or abusive language or engage in behavior that damages the reputation of the club or the game, whether on or off the field.
Respecting Officials: I will not argue with referees or assistant referees regarding their decisions.
Fair Play: I will treat all participants, officials, and spectators with respect and demonstrate good sportsmanship.
Following the Rules: I will play by the laws of the game and cooperate with my coach, teammates, referees, and officials at all times.
Prohibited Substances: I will not use any banned substances or drugs of dependence throughout my involvement with the club.
Positive Attitude: I will display integrity, teamwork, and sportsmanship in all my interactions.
Playing for Enjoyment: I will participate in the game for my own development and enjoyment, not just to satisfy parents or coaches.
By being a member of SYSC means all players commit to SYSC Player Code of Conduct and understand that any violations may result in disciplinary action.

- We will keep your child safe while they are with us.
- We will try to provide your child with the best coaching we have available. Some or all MiniRoo coaches are volunteers. The club offers accredited coaching courses facilitated by Football Victoria. At junior level our focus is to develop the skills and technique of all players and to instil in all players the ethos of how to play and enjoy a team game. SYSC and our coaches always put skill development ahead of winning.
