The Yarra family continues to grow, and the oldest club in Victoria has added a new face to its ranks. Marcelo comes with an impressive resume and unrivalled knowledge of the competition, having coached in State League 1 for three of the last four seasons. He’s created and expanded female football programs, won trophies and promotion, developed strong players and pathways, and now finds himself leading our new women’s State League 1 team.
As a specialist female football coach, Marcelo brings an attacking, high IQ brand of football, balancing competition with community spirit. The perfect fit for our senior women’s team, who are leaders on and off the park when it comes to our club values.
